Terms & Conditions – The Cricket Doctor NZ

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, purchasing products, booking services, or engaging with The Cricket Doctor NZ (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Client,” “Customer,” “You”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

The Cricket Doctor NZ provides cricket-related services and products including, but not limited to:

Cricket coaching and training sessions

Bat repairs and restoration services

Cricket equipment and accessories

Teamwear and apparel orders

Club and school cricket support services

All services and products are subject to availability.


2. Coaching Services

Coaching sessions may be delivered by The Cricket Doctor NZ or independent specialist coaches affiliated with the platform.

By booking coaching services, you acknowledge that:

Coaching outcomes vary depending on individual effort, skill level, and participation

Session times and coach availability may change where necessary

Clients are responsible for arriving prepared and on time for scheduled sessions

The Cricket Doctor NZ does not guarantee specific sporting outcomes, team selection, or performance results.


3. Equipment & Product Orders

Products supplied or facilitated through The Cricket Doctor NZ may include third-party brands such as Kookaburra.

We aim to ensure all product descriptions and information are accurate; however:

Colours and product appearance may vary slightly from images

Availability may change without notice

Delivery timeframes are estimates only

All pricing is listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.


4. Teamwear Orders

Custom teamwear orders may require approval of:

Sizes

Colours

Logos

Quantities

Artwork and branding

Once custom orders are approved and submitted for production, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Customers are responsible for confirming sizing and order details before approval.


5. Bat Repairs & Restoration

Bat repair services may include:

Handle replacements

Toe repairs and protection

Crack and edge restoration

Bat preparation and knocking-in

While every effort is made to restore bats professionally, The Cricket Doctor NZ cannot guarantee the lifespan or future performance of repaired bats due to the natural nature of willow and previous damage.

Repair turnaround times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods.


6. Payments

Payment may be required before products, coaching sessions, or repair services commence.

We reserve the right to suspend services or withhold products until payment has been received in full.


7. Refunds & Cancellations

Coaching Services

Coaching cancellations require reasonable notice. Missed sessions or late cancellations may not be refundable.

Custom Teamwear

Due to the personalised nature of custom apparel, refunds are generally not available once production has begun unless required under New Zealand consumer law.

Bat Repairs

Repair services already completed are non-refundable.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.


8. Website Use

You agree not to:

Misuse the website or its content

Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data

Reproduce or distribute website content without permission


9. Intellectual Property

All branding, website content, logos, graphics, copy, and materials remain the property of The Cricket Doctor NZ unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any material without written permission.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Cricket Doctor NZ is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential loss

Sporting performance outcomes

Injury sustained during coaching or training

Damage resulting from misuse of products or repaired equipment

Delays caused by third-party suppliers or couriers

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product or service.


11. Health & Safety

Clients participating in coaching or cricket activities acknowledge that sport involves physical activity and inherent risk.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.

Parents or guardians are responsible for minors attending coaching sessions.


12. Privacy

Any personal information submitted through this website or contact forms will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws.

We do not sell or share personal information with unrelated third parties without consent unless required by law.


13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
